Divisional Payoff Method

What is the Division Payoff?

We use a divisional payoff method that allows, fairness, equality, and inclusion. The main point of this multiple division jackpot payoff method is to allow all skill and speed levels to participate at the same jackpot without seeing all the money go to the top shooters all the time.

How are the four divisions created?

The best score of the day will win the 1D (1st Division). You then subtract the low score for the course of fire and divide by the number of divisions (1 Division for every 25 entries).

How are the divisional placings are figured out?

Let’s say the we have top score of 170 and a low score of 50 points. Take the high score of 170 points and minus the low score of 50 points. That gives us a 120 point range.

Divide the difference by 4: 120/4 = 30 you now have your divisional placings.

Do you have an example of divisional placings?

Using the above figures we get would get the following:

  • 1st Division Scores will include all shooters scoring between: 170-140
  • 2nd Division will include all shooters scoring between: 139-110
  • 3rd Division will include all shooters scoring between: 109-80
  • 4th Division will include all shooters scoring between: 79-50

What would a 4d payoff based on 100 shooters at $500 each?

This example allows 12% of shooters to get paid, in all ability levels! The total payout in this example would be $25,000.

What other scoring rules are there?

  • All ties will be required to shoot up, and rounding up will be used in scoring.
  • If you do not have a score within a division, then it will be eliminated and the money will be split on less time. The percentage will be divided 50%, 30%, & 20% for three divisions, and 60% & 40% for two divisions.

What if I’m the only one to score in a division?

If you are the only score in the division, you just had your lucky day and won all the money in that division!
